EMPATHY:  the ability to understand and share the feelings of another.

I was reading a few articles lately about latest advances in medicine and came across lot of writing about empathy.

They are saying doctors need empathy training doctors don’t know how to open a bad news with patients.

Doctors are medical machines who read reports and not patients.

Now my question isn’t that what clients come for to us?

The GOOGLE has made my life so easy and so hard

Before coming to me patients read the reports and Google it and come to me asking thousand unnecessary questions so thus Google have the empathy software?

A patient asked what is my lifespan. I knew this one, I mentioned 2years with follow ups, and to this the patient was unhappy because Google mentioned “a couple of years depending on the lifestyle”

My definition of

Counselling: Running about the bush with emotions.

Coaching: Clearing the unwanted emotional barriers and making you aware and strong.

And Doctors like me are trained in coaching, like for example when I have a terminal patient I always insist they write their WILL. Talk to their family tell them what they want and what should be done with religious areas also.

I remember a Case of Liver cancer came to me and was fast progress with little room for intervention, palliative was the option, he once told doctor I have a collection of very fine bone china crockery and I have never used it because I kept on procrastinating and then we did something for this which gave him that occasion to use that collection, that was fun and fulfilment.

I agree some doctors don’t handle such fields of palliative care yet that doesn’t mean nobody does, I know many colleagues who do a wonderful job in this.

My friend Mr.Mustafa Jetpurwala from LifeLine Blood donors does this every day, biscuits blankets and love with hugs to those who have never received it, why does he do that he feels happy to do that.

Imagine you enter my clinic and I see your reports and start sobbing and hugging you and crying and tell you … Dost … App marney waley ho !!! (translation in english "MY FRIEND YOU ARE GOING TO DIE!!!")

NO.

I sit on my chair steady and give him the best way ahead and to do that I fight back my tears I swallow my emotions and I make myself very strong.

It’s hard to play God and believe me dear patron it’s a task in which only my AQA MaulaTUS helps me, no books of empathy will teach me and no courses from empathy trainers can teach this art.

I will never be able to portray my emotions in words being pragmatic being simple and straight forward in approach is most important.Its kindness.

As my favourite Bones says Two plus two equals four. I put sugar in my coffee and it tastes sweet. The sun comes up because the world turns. These things are beautiful to me. There are mysteries I will never understand, but everywhere I look, I see proof that for every effect, there is a corresponding cause…even if I can’t see it. I find that reassuring.

Nothing in this universe happens just once, nothing; infinity goes in both directions. There is no unique event, no singular moment...

I don’t know how these dying people think about me because I see them die before they can say anything to me; I like to believe they are happy up above!

This is unlike my other articles which are always touching the happy side of life

Yet you know death is the happiest moment, of life.

I have always given my best to make it as happier for those facing it inevitably.

This is in memory of all those wonderful men, women, children who are now no more and taught me so much about life. Also the life of Aruna Shanbaugh; which shows euthanasia is not the way of life and never take the easy way out only because you had an option for escape.

With this I appeal say No to Euthanasia.

I wonder how IT IS possible for THEM.

They don't know cooking and I know cooking,

Dear readers I'm taking a break from the intense writing and  here's a light         article for little funny things in life!

The question I have always faced while meeting any man for   matrimony is Do    you know cooking?  well I initially thought    maybe they ask because men don't know how to carry a conversation. Then later one friend said no DR! THEY ask  you this because their mothers want this information. OK so mother in law          thingy well I started taking it seriously, and religiously when faced this query I  would ANSWER. Now  another thing started happening, men who meet me find it  very intimidating that a Dr can be so efficient that she can cook also ,well and  that also really tasty! (please don't ask for any     treats after reading THIS)

So I'm confused again what is the answer that should be given  and how to decide if I've to say I know cooking or I don't know cooking , to find my prince                charming.

Now you know the Dr's mind goes into research!  I decided let's get a statistical   data from all those married and find what answer they GAVE. Well!

I STARTED...............

Was doing this for LIKE 2 months and guess what?

I found these women around me don't know COOKING!

Do they cook for their children HUSBAND......? NO!

well I asked my MOM? Mom what was your answer when dad ASKED? Mom     said all the cooking I do I learnt after marriage,

Wow!

So now I'm phished for marriage MAN! please teach me how to forget cooking,

EXCLAMATIONS, PAUSE, intensive, ADJECTIVES, oh my GOD,                     ACTUALLY!

so now decided my Answer is I have had specific memory LOSS! And I don't 
know how to cook.

cooking has been my stress BUSTER, I remember someone telling me, your          emotions make your food and my best friend cooks beautifully, my mom is the 
bests cook on earth and Dad makes the best KHEEMA, my brother is very good with   his culinary skills and sister is the nutrition consultant who's always cooked well measured DISHES, my KAKI, IN case  you've eaten the Khichda she makes you have had your heaven trip!

Such a strong cooking background and Now I've forgotten        cooking!

NAH! I am not giving my skill for some unknown man just to marry, NAH!

Dear MEN!

I understand your confusion about educated women , your  head spins in deciding .I have lately come across men who are well educated and all well settled and they have narrowness about education, they want to marry someone less educated        then themselves I wonder in case these find someone less educated and marry    what will be the plight of their daughters. WHY ? please answer someone?why is our  community          having this problem?  we have such support system of         ITNC   and many times I hear from my counsellor please let's drop some  degrees from your PROFILE! Hilarious I just laugh out  loud seriously is marriage worth my degree     NAH!

I feel if you can't taste how you cooked you wasted your LIFE, how can someone not know the most basic thing of life I mean  cooking is HAPPINESS! I will insted tell all these women cook ladies COOK!

After a daylong work no matter how busy I prefer eating at least one thing I have cooked myself, WE are blessed with the   abundance of richness of this world yet cooking is Heaven! And mom's cooking top of the WORLD!

I know marriage is an important part of life yet I have come to realise that our     community lacks the open view about educated women, the basic principles of the relationship is lost and it's     loosing it's charm where nobody is equal , you want to marry    someone lower than you thus to tame them for life which is      pathetic attitude.  and the latest is you marry someone with a   rich DAD! Well that's       GREAT!

So now what is the SOLUTIONS?

I remember my dad teaching me the power of language at a very young age. Not only did my dad understand that specific words affect our mental pictures, but he understood words are a powerful programming factor in lifelong success.One particularly interesting event occurred when I was eight. As a kid, I was always climbing trees, poles, and literally hanging around upside down from the rafters of our lake house. So, it came to no surprise for my dad to find me at the top of a 30-foot tree swinging back and forth. My little eight-year-old brain didn't realize the tree could break or I could get hurt. I just thought it was fun to be up so high.My older cousin, Tammy,was also in the same tree. She was hanging on the first big limb, about ten feet below me. Tammy's mother also noticed us at the exact time my dad did. About that time a huge gust of wind came over the tree. I could hear the leaves start to rattle and the tree begin to sway. I remember my dad's voice over the wind yell, "Bart, Hold on tightly." So I did. The next thing I know, I heard Tammy screaming at the top of her lungs, laying flat on the ground. She had fallen out of the tree.I scampered down the tree to safety. My dad later told me why she fell and I did not. Apparently, when Tammy's mother felt the gust of wind, she yelled out, "Tammy, don't fall!" And Tammy did fall. My dad then explained to me that the mind has a very difficult time processing a negative image.In fact, people who rely on internal pictures cannot see a negative at all. You can't visualize not doing something.The only way to properly visualize not doing something is to actually find a word for what you want to do and visualize that.For example, when I was thirteen years old, I played for my junior high school football team. I tried so hard to be good, but I just couldn't get it together at that age. I remember hearing the words run through my head as I was running out for a pass, "Don't drop it!" Naturally, I dropped the ball. My coaches were not skilled enough to teach us proper "self-talk." They just thought some kids could catch and others couldn't. I'll never make it pro, but I'm now a pretty good Sunday afternoon football player, because all my internal dialogue is positive and encourages me to win.I wish my dad had coached me playing football instead of just climbing trees. I might have had a longer football career. If our parents can set a lifetime of programming with one wrong statement, imagine the kind of programming you are doing on a daily basis with your own internal dialogue.Here is a list of Toxic Vocabulary words. SCIENCE NOT MAGIC !! GRAPHOLOGY- HANDWRITING AND SIGNATURE ANALYSIS. - by Dr.Fatema Palgharwala.@ #HappyHomoeopathy Clinic

I hear it every day from my clients Dr you have a doctors handwriting which only a pharmacist will read!

Here is a very good article by someone from the reporting world:

“I have to say, my handwriting looked quite neat and legible to me. There were several others whose handwriting is much worse.

Anyway, something about it always fascinated me about handwriting. I felt that there was a reason why everyone had a unique handwriting and why the “class clowns” always wrote with large, inflated letters and the introverted studious guys wrote with small, cramped up and timid letters.

Some three years ago, I was watching
the movie Sherlock Holmes – you know the one with Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock and Jude Law as Watson. Sherlock takes the signature of Professor Moriarty and asks him if he was familiar with graphology, or the study of handwriting to uncover the personality of the writer. He then went on to describe the personality of Professor Moriarty – ingenious, excellent associative abilities but a complete lack of any moral sense and criminal tendencies.

Wow! So much from a person’s handwriting? I immediately looked up graphology, found a tutor and then started my study of graphology or handwriting analysis.

Graphology is a scientific study which originated some time back in France and is now widely used in European countries such as France, Germany,
Italy and Spain for personnel screening, vocational guidance and in psychology and criminology. No, no it has nothing to do with the occult. A graphologist is not a psychic or a fortune teller!

Rather, graphology attempts to scientifically study handwriting in order to uncover various facets of personality such as intellectual and creative abilities, integrity, determination to succeed, communication skills, personal drive, productivity, aptitude, vulnerability to stress, defences, fears and inhibitions, to name a few. Being a cost-effective, accurate and valid personality assessment tool, around 80 per cent of the companies in France hire graphologists to aid them in personnel screening. Another advantage is that handwriting cannot be easily faked, unlike other tests where candidates
are required to answer True or False questions or rating a statement on a scale of 1-5.

Being a handwriting analyst, also called a graphologist, I often hear the question, “But no one writes anymore… It’s all typing. What will you do when writing becomes obsolete?”

My answer is two-fold. One, I sincerely hope that handwriting never becomes obsolete. Two, if it does I wouldn’t be as worried about myself as I would be about your children and grandchildren. As the psychotherapist and graphologist Annette Poizner says, future generations, without handwriting, would have a weak right brain-left brain coordination, which would result in impaired memory power, Attention Deficit Disorder, more learning disabilities, underdeveloped fine motor skills and difficulties with

expressiveness. I, on the other hand, would still be able to continue my job with other projective techniques.

Yes, there are several benefits to writing with our hands instead of typing. These include better fine motor skills, fluidity and ease of communication, memory skills and more developed adult-like neural connections, which cannot be developed by typing. The pen is mightier than the keyboard!

There is no “good” or “bad” handwriting. It is your personality…”

Every time I visit here I am at sea with chicken in every menu!

People have always gathered with what is the easiest for them, chicken is a staple here no need mention the reasons.
